so i found the info to adjust the 986 handbrake, but it doesn't apply to the 987 model it seems.... my 06 has some form of a ratchet affair under the console...

the wheel adjustments are still the same but my hand brake does not engage on the third click more like 6 or seven ... way up there.

this ratchet adjuster must have some method to allow it to release so it can take up the slack

any one know??

i don't have the manual yet
