If it's working for you, no need to replace it. But, it is 7 yrs. old and if nothing else has been in service long enough to possibly fail. It's plastic, which can warp from heat cycling and does have an 'o' ring which will wear out sooner or later, both of which can cause it to leak under pressure. If you have a system pressure checker such as the stant or KD you can pressure test the cap and seal.

I wouldn't run right out and get one as long as yours is working because they're prone to progressive, not sudden failure - keep an eye on the trunk lid for signs of condensation. But, they are cheap and if ordering parts, say from sunset or such, I'd probably throw one in. Possibly save a little on S/H.
