it's ok to clean w/that mileage, though I doubt you'll notice any significant increase in mileage or anything else that tangible.

it's easy to do. the only "special" tool you need, iirc, is security torx bit; if you do a search, you can find the correct size. these bits can be found in most auto parts stores. you can also get some CRC MAF cleaner.

the MAF sensor is located towards the left side of the engine bay (driver's side) near the air filter assembly. you remove the 2 torx bits that hold the MAF assembly in place and carefully remove the maf. you then use the CRC maf cleaner to spray the tiny sensor clean (you don't want to touch the sensor). their are instructions on cleaning it on the CRC can as well.
