Below are some more pics.

I took the tips off and then to a professional powder coating shop for a flat black finish. I then taped off the rear and painted the actual muffler myself with high temp paint.

I think pre-03 might look fine on a dark car like yours, would stand out too much on a white car for example.

I'm leaving the wheels as is

I am painting the silver liner above the tips later today, looks odd now that the tips are black.
