I would not consider myself "rich" upper middle class maybe, mostly because I have no kids. I always wanted a Porsche, I was not completely aware of the ridiculous stigma between the model owners. My boxster was essentially an impulse buy, right car, right time, rms or ims be dammed I bought me a Porsche and I love it. I still want a 911 model some day though, in addition to my boxster of course :-)
