Ugh, guys I need help!

I was pulling a bone head move today and drove too fast around a curve and ran the Boxster off the road into the side bushes and trees. Luckily I didn't do any damage, no dents but the tree limbs did mark up the car. They didn't break the paint nor leave a big scratch but they did leave some serious marking on the car. It's hard to describe but I'm confident that they can be polished out. Any tips on what works best to remove marks on a black car? New Finish, Wax, Polishing compound, etc.,

I'll post a picture later tonight.

I'm stick to my stomach because of my stupidity!
