Just wondering what other forum users recommend in the way of convertible top vendors for a '01 Boxster S. My top recently developed the dreaded "crack" in the green vinyl rear window and now leaks water even with tape on it. I saw convertibletopguys selling them for $632 and installation manual for $10 (I'm a DIY). Their tops are German A5 Sonnenland canvas. A master tech. told me factory tops are the safest bet as they include all hardware, but they are pricey. Has anyone replaced their top due to worn canvas and/or cracked window? I would appreciate any suggestions.
