CPO Upgrade - For New Prospective Owners

Porsche has been holding clinics in the Chicago area this week (and next week.) I stopped by Loeber on Saturday & they were telling me about the new CPO cars (6 years or newer.)

In the past, once you were out of the original 48 mos/ 48,000 mile warranty, an additional CPO only covered powertrain & drivetrain. Now, they said CPO gives bumper to bumper coverage like the original warranty (control arms, trailing arms, radio issues, window issues, electrical gremlins, etc.) They said Porsche had received enough complaints that they wanted to act. I don't know if this is just Loeber (doubt it) or if this is for all dealerships. Just thought I'd share, in case there were some folks on the forum who were considering a newer Boxster & were debating whether or not to go with a CPO car.

Double check with the service dept. of your dealership before you opt for it.
