I'm sure that some of the more experienced people can weigh in with more facts than I have, but if it is already on and you don't use it all the time, I wonder if it would be all that damaging to leave on? I'm talking a quick shot every now and then, not going through a bottle a week.
Thinking about the old NOS'd 5.0 has gotten me intrigued.
