yes there is a noticeable difference when you are driving it for real (turning the steering wheel). But much like jumping into a Corvette, you eventually get used to it and its not so different anymore.
The general rule is to buy every other series. 986 to 988 would be the better move. Invest your extra dinero or pump up your savings for a rainy day.
