I don't know... usually I think that painted bumperettes look better, but this is one case where I prefer the black. His car has a good theme going in contrasting silver and black. The body is silver, but the rims, air intakes, rear trunk exhaust thingies, rear lower diffuser, and bottom section of rear trunk are all black. It kind of goes with the color scheme to also have the bumperettes in black then.
