Well gang, the time has come. I said good-bye to "Foxy" on January 1, 2009. The last four years have converted me into a Porsche fanatic, through and through. What started as a car to hold me over until I could get a BMW, forever changed me.
Unlike a lot of the stories you read on this forum, my car was a shining star. The only non-scheduled repairs were a couple of O2 sensors and a mass airflow meter. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about this example of German engineering.
Maintenance can be expensive, but for me, it's been worth it.
Though my beloved Porsche has found a new home out on the left coast (watch out for those liberals Foxy!), I have continued my search for the next piece of Stuttgart to occupy my pastime and garage. What's next for me? I'm thinking Carrera... I'll definitely keep you all posted. And as for this forum, I don't plan on leaving.
