It's a matter of opinion. You can search this forum and find pros and cons about paper vs oil impregnated cotton gauze. Also stock air box vs aftermarket high flow with a cone filter.

I started out stock, got a K&N then found a EVO on EBay. The EVO breaths allot better but some seem to think performance suffers.
