I'm not familar with "targon tubing"? What is it and where can I get a small piece if I need it? Was the 1/2" the ID of the tube?

I had planned to use some tubing that we had a work.. and a couple of hose clamps. Right now the car is stored and I'm not in a hurry to open up the engine compartment again. And of course I forgot to measure the dip stick tube OD.
