You got a mis-labled non-AC belt. Since AC is standard on all US model Boxsters (not standard on all ROW models), it seems silly that there are even non-AC belts in the country, but there are. I got one mis-labled from an Indy parts supplier, returned it and got the proper one from the dealer.
