Don't see how you can go wrong changing those lines. I'd recommend a so-called flare nut wrench, rather than an open end wrench, so you don't strip the hex when torquing the connectors.

I'm about to buy a Motive Bleeder (probably like yours) and to a complete brake fluid flush. I'll be interested in hearing how well you did with this tool as a first time user.
