Can you say more about this? I could easily understand it if the tires were actually coated with adhesive (so they'd have to be basically "pulled" off the pavement) - they'd "stick" great in corners but be much harder to turn. But if the compound is just softer, how does it affect acceleration? In a way, I'd expect it to make it better, as you'd get less wheel spin from the greater traction...
