"I always wondered how you did title transfers, etc. for an out of state car purchase that is shipped to you..."

The seller should give you a clear and valid title, released of all liens and with his/her interest released to you.

Most title will have an federal odometer statement indicating mileage.

Also, you should receive a bill of sale indicating all terms and conditions.

Dealers are required to furnish a Federal Buyers Guilde also,'

You take the whole set of docs with you to your local DMV and start the process of recording your title, registering your car.

Each state is diff on that.

This part of the sale process is crucial and buyers can get stung big time here.

Many an EBAYR that has been let down here.

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.
