Finances and investing are two different things. I'm pretty good at investing and uh not so good at managing my expenses and bills. If I wasn't good at investing and trading I might be in poor house. While on the other hand some people I know are very good at managing their finances and are TERRIBLE at investing their savings.
You should talk to a certified financial planner or contact
Vanguard and tell you want to set up a monthly investment account and an IRA or ROTH if you don't already have one.
