That doesn't make any sense to me. If they wanted a big explosion of parts they should have gotten a car that wasn't as safe or a bigger crane.
This just proves the Boxster's safety, about 5' of crumple zones in the front and the back. If you where in the car you could probably walk away from that with just a few bruises.
Next time they need a bigger crane so they can get it going faster than 54MPH.
