I looked up this article. The author also says this:

...........More than four out of 10 (45 percent) 18-43 year-olds say it’s a fashion faux-pas nowadays to have a car that is not green or environmentally friendly........

PERFECT example of making statistics say what you want. When was the last time you saw the age range go from 18 to 43 when doing surveys?? It should be 18-25 or even 18-35. Really, how much do people over 40 have in common with people 18?

My bet, and I will put money on this, is the 18-25 group was like 1 in a 500. Then they found some wannabe hippies in the 38-43 range to offset the numbers. So with some convenient hippie math they came up with this 45% number.

I also wonder how the question was asked? Maybe it was like "with gas at XXX a gallon, would you prefer a more environmentally car?"......or was it "Hey, 18 year old kid, would you like to drive my Porsche or this Primus?"

This is a pure attempt to indoctrinate young people into a BS mind frame. Basically they are now saying if you want to get laid you better be one of us. A total joke.
