I ordered a new Boxster S from the local Porsche dealership here in San Diego and they were willing to work with me on the price. A little bit, at least, nothing like I've been used to in the past with my previous purchases, but they weren't Porsches after all. And if you're looking for 2004 Boxster-like discounts, no dice right now.

I don't take delivery until May though. A difficult wait...
