Your car is cheap enough that the correct advertising might get lots of people interested.

Here's what I have found is the best technique for selling a car:
If the car is over the price of a cheap new car then advertise in autotrader, cars.com etc. Always buy the expensive ads so your listing gets noticed. Price it aggressively. Use hyperbole extensively. Be a loud salesman. You need to separate your car from the herd by making the price lower and the car sound more attractive. You are going after the real shoppers who want a Boxster and know the market.

But if the car is at the price of a cheap new car then use a completely different technique because you are going after a completely different buyer. This is an impulse shopper. They did not know they wanted or could afford a Boxster until they see yours. Put the car on the street. Make the biggest sign possible with only two things on it price and phone. Make the price $1000 more than you want. Be a quiet salesman.
