I am new to this site and i am excited by the disscusions and ifo exchanged here.

i bought my first porsche, a 2000 986 boxter triple black. i just got my 60 k

checkup done...and i got a new alternator and rear main seal...all covered under

GE warranty that i purchased with the vehicle...its one of the smartest things i

have ever done..seeing as i am no mechanic....the only thing i had to cover was a

new clutch and the 60k checkup $1565 for both....if you are from illinois.check out

SEMERIA IMPORTS and ask for BLAU blue or LARRY...awesome techs without the

attitude and well priced below the dealereships in my area. As a matter a fact the

dealerships will send their cars to these guys. here is a pic of my ride...enjoy the

roads and take the long way home.
