I recently bought a 2000 (non-S) black on black with 30,000 miles in mint condition for $18,250.00. Found the car I wanted on autotrader.

There are plenty of cars available, so I suggest you wait and find the exact color combination and miles you are looking for. Times are tough, so you should be able to get the car you want. Since you are willing to spend about $30,000, I suggest you purchase a 2003+ car, so you will get the glass back window instead of the plastic. This will save you about $1500 when you would have had to replace the rear plastic window eventually. (I have to replace mine already).

I strongly suggest you go the autotrader type of route. For me, I have to test drive a car before purchasing. While looking for my car, I test drove several which looked great on the web sites, but were somewhat disappointing in real life (worn interior, non-functioning headlights, missing interior parts, sweaks, rattles, etc.)

The 30,000 mile service can run $1000-1500. If you can find a car that has recently had one done, that will save you more money.

Good luck. Remember, wait until you find your perfect car. It will be worth the wait.
