The xenon lamps are a different shape than H7 bulbs. Stock housing wasn't designed for those aftermarket kits. The beam pattern will not be the same. You will notice abnormal hot spots as well as irregular and asymmetrical illumination patterns. It would be nice if the same projection for halogens would mirror the xenons... it doesn't. It could possibly (negatively) affect your visibility, as well as the oncoming traffic.

There will be people that will say, "I did it and it's fine, it doesn't blind people." But nary do they post pictures (realistic before/after pix, as well as an oncoming view).

If you do it, makes sure you do as much documentation as possible... photos! Show us your results.
