You have gotten some great advice by the other posters here. All I would add is don't feel rushed. Keep trying to find the perfect car for you. For example, there are 387 Boxsters Listed on
www.autotrader.com for 2003-2004!!
www.porsche.com also has a great search function for pre-owner cars.
Lasly, it is very difficult to obtain maintenance records from a dealership for the prior owner's car. They all claim Privacy Issues.
