I suspect you can remove it the same way you would the badge on trunk lid. Use dental floss or fishing line and saw thru the adhesive between the emblem and the batwing. Then clean of residue left behind w/ either WD-40 or Goo-B-Gone. Might help to quickly (w/ a low heat setting) warm it up w/ a hair dryer or better yet heat gun. Good luck
