I picked up my 2000 Porsche Boxster on Saturday and I am so excited. I got it for $23,995 and put $10k down. Not much chance to drive it yet in this crappy weather but just looking at it so far has been enough for me. I got it checked out by the head mechanic at a Porsche/Audi dealer near me before my purchase. Well, it better be. But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else? Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well. When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.
