Great photos. Thanks. It looks like a very easy diy. I've seen recommendations about sketching the layout of the belt before you remove it, so you don't screw up the routing.

Anyone have any suggestions on when it should be replaced? How many miles are you getting before replacement? I've got 56000 on my 01 and am thinking just for preventitive maintenance I ought to replace it. Is the belt like tires... gets bad just from age? If so, I think I probably need to change it soon. Especially, given the apparent ease of doing so. ok ok... so I'll go look it up in the owners manual. Practical advise would be appreciated though!
