You can add additional padding to the center portion of the seat back and in effect reduce the depth of the side bolsters. Gently lift up and out on the center portion of the seat back and it will unclip at the top and "tilt" forward. I have done this and added some 1/2" high density foam from a camping bed roll found at Walmart, or you can use thinner material from a computer mouse pad or similar. I simply cut the foam to shape, inserted it behind the lose center section and clipped the seat back together. No tools are necessary and you can add additional foam for lumbar support if needed.
