Worst selling as in lowest volume? This would be an indication of how rare the car is to see on the road, but not how profitable it is to the manufacturer or how certain it's future is. I have a strong feeling that the Germans and Brits make a good deal of money off their cars and are OK with low volumes.
Having said that, I'd be more than happy if they had sold 1/4 of the Boxsters that they have. Part of the explanation for the lower resale values is the high volumes modern Porsches have sold in recent times.
