Well, I ended bringing my Boxster S to a German P-Car specialty shop called Greff Motors in Metairie on Airline Hwy near Clearview. Randy Greff has quite the good reputation of Porsche racing and performance mods and does great work in a very clean, exceptionally organized shop. While not the cheapest place, it is the same price as the dealership on Veterans, he does get work done quickly and accurately the first time.

I have also heard that Lindsey Automotive in Kenner actually has some exceptional mechanics (German techs and owner) --- I will have to check them out next time I need to get work done. We shall see!
