The Cayman is the same size as the Boxster and in 2007 they also come with the same engine, 3.4L 295HP. However, the Cayman has a more rigid body since it has a fixed top so it is technically a better performing track car. Adding a hard top to a Boxster doesn't completely solve for this. The Cayman will still have superior dynamics but they would be close.
