I got back in touch with Marc for further clarification, just to make sure I wasn't spreading bum scoop.
"Getting to 500hp will require custom pistons, and probably a stronger clutch pressure plate. It will definitely require larger injectors, and probably a larger fuel pump. Stock rods are probably ok, but will need to have ARP or RaceWare rod bolts. And of course some serious on-dyno tuning. This would be our starting point."
