I am using CG Lock both in Auto-X as well as on the track.
It keeps your butt firmly in the seat.
You can do the following trick to "arrest" your upper body as well:
Recline the back of your seat all the way.
Now make the seat belt lock, by yanking at it.
Now move the back of your seat back upright.
You are now locked in; both with the lower part of your body and the upper part.

It's much better than the support with your standard belt but still far away from the support a GT3 seat + 6-point harness would give you (duh)

Anyways, in my opinion the CG-Lock is worth it's money
