The black never bothered me really. Now if ever I were to be rear ended, I'd go sans bumperettes. But I'm ok with the black. With so much goodness to look at in the front, I don't focus on the rear that much.

I'm with Blinkwatt on this one. If you paint your bumperettes, your ride would look even better.
