986 with a Cayman front doesn't work for me. It's mixes the old with the new (and not in the popular retro fashion), and I don't think that carries over very well here.
The lines are different -more edgy on the newer Cayman, whereas the 986's rear is more curvaceous. It doesn't make the car's design work as a whole.
Don't mix the generations. And if you're spending that kind of money on an upgrade... wouldn't a 987 be within reach?
