Lack of oil on the ground is not necessarily a guarantee that the engine didn't grenade. At least mine didn't when it went....

When you get the new (or used) engine make sure you get at least a 1-2 year warranty on it. Oh, and be prepared to go without your Box for around a month so a loaner vehicle is probably due you as well.
