Mustang dynos introduce tyre interfaces that skew results. Tyre growth, heat, and adhesion (and sometime lack thereof) typically yield inaccurate results. The dynapack units bolt directly to the hubs and remove tyre interface variables. This is one of the the reasons why manufacturers like Porsche, Toyota, Mazda and Daimler use the same dynos in their testing. As a scientist, it was important to me as well to have extremely accurate and repeatable results....that is why I spent so much to purchase this type of dynamometer: more than any mustang dyno. Many manufacturers and factory teams also use my facility for testing...even though I am not the "Biggest" porsche tuner...

The only Dynapacks that have read relatively higher were the pre 2003 units with different calibrations. Ours and thousands of newer units, have different "lower" calibrations that have shown a 1~2% lower readings than Dynojets.

Your best bet would have been to baseline, then test your modifications.
