Followed the instructions located in
http://mike.focke.googlepages.com/checkenginelightcausedbymassairflowsensor

Pulled the MAF to computer plug. Replaced engine cover and lowered convertible top. Ran for 10 minutes, up to 6500 RPM in 1st - 4th. (OK only 5500 in 4th). It ran and sounded like my old Box once again, as acceleration was way up and no hesitation noted. Conclusion: MAF dirty or failed. I will clean it first.

It's perplexing that the CEL errors reported low end issues in 1-3 and 4-6. I did not see an issue until I accelerated hard above 3500. I guess Porsche considers 3500 as low end. Hmmmmm.

Was worried that this was going to cost some sizable $$$. Iím relieved that itís only going to be as little a $25 to clean or as much as $250 to replace. Now I can get rid of my Bah Humbug attitude and enjoy the 4th of July.

Thanks for the help.
