The 2005-06 Boxster S has a 3.2L engine. The 3.4L didn't make it to the Boxster S until 2007 but was on the Cayman S 2005-2007. So the standard Boxster for 2005-2007 is a 2.7L (I believe). The 3.2L engine produces 280hp versus the 295hp on the 3.4L
