once you take it out you can see what htes talkinga bout.
BUT, i sprayed the whole thing, all the wires, you cant harm anything.

and as for taking it out, well...once you get to the engine, its right there, just unbolt 2 screws, pull it out and clean it.

but on renntech poeple had bad experience just taking it out and cleaning it, as it seems that the MAF doesnt like to be taken out or moved around, so they end up getting CEL even though they didnt have one before. just a tought.
i cleaned mine couse of the CEL, and it was already out for the EVO intake...
