I disagree with the "money pit image". I have 91,000 miles on my 2002 and the only thing I had to do to it was replace the water pump. parts and labor totaled about $550. That was including a complete anti freeze flush and refill. I drive my car like it was ment to be driven. During the summer months it's almost my everyday car. It's stored for the winter except when the weathers good I'll pull it out and driver her around a bit. I live in the north east.

I suggest you "Go for it"..... buy that boxster. You'll love it everytime you get in it. If you do have any problems with it, you'll find all the information you need right here on 986 forum. this site and the members here do an excellant job sharing info and helping other members
