All I said was I saw where a person on a website with an aftermarket exhaust wrapped header tape (or some other varient) around the 2 mufflers. He said it helped. I would believe it due to the absorbing properties of the tape changing the resonant frequency of the metal. Do I know for a fact, no. But try it... you got nothing to loose but a couple bucks.
