That thing has the most savage sounding motor I've ever heard, couldn't imagine what it sounded like in person.

For the non-technical types, each ONE of the the four cylinders displaced 7.075 liters, or 431.74 cubic inches!!!!! That's mores than 2 Boxster S motors combined or one mid-year Big Block Corvette motor, PER CYLINDER!!!!

Can you imagine the torque that thing puts out - even with its very low compression ratio and efficiency.
The drivers must have had very large gonads racing on those tyres too....

I'm currently helping a friend restore his 1956 GMC firetruck, it has an inline 6 cylinder 503 cubic inch gasoline engine, I thought that thing was a beast lol. In shear size it pales in comparison to the video above, here's a pic of one of the pushrods from the firetruck motor....

In comparison.... that engine makes my 200hp HRC motorcycle engine here sound like a little PC fan :/
