Ken Block really knows how to do it, and how to reach out to the public through social media with his "Gymkhana" videos.

He returned to Spain earlier this year to compete in a WRC rally. That's serious stuff, folks. A hotshot American on European turf. He was a crowd favorite, as he is wherever he competes.

Behold the power of the internet.

I think the 65 Mustang with all wheel drive really added a nice touch
I wonder how many millions of dollars it cost to make that video... I'm sure it
was filmed in sections, but closing major sections of highway in LA cant be
easy or cheap!

This is the stuff that Millennials flock to.

Forget F1, WEC, and sports car racing. It's all adrenaline junkie stuff now; Hoonigan Gymkhana, Global Rallycross, and Formula Drift with their 1200 HP rockets.

Hell, even NASCAR is a "contact sport" now, according to the drivers. What's next? WWE bumper cars?

I'm gettin' old...........

Great vid - though I'm not much into "hoon"-ing, it's always entertaining watch him throw a [very well prepped] car around even if we know it's not all in one clip.

Now I'll have to break out my old Jane's Addiction albums and digitize for my iphone on my next drive! Great choice of accompaniment. Nah, who am I kidding, I'll just download instead.

The Faux-J Chase cracked me up too:

Hard to imagine that was 20 years ago... Guess I'm getting old and even if I'm not 100% into drifting, they're the only millennial 'car' of large numbers so we need to embrace... then convert

Thanks for posting, Heiko.

The video registered another 1,000,000 views since my post of 10:45 this morning. That's over 3,900 hits per minute!

What's incredible in that Hoonigan, Ken Block's company, is an apparel company! But wait, there's more! On sale now; t-shirts, hoodies and caps from the GYMKHAN-SEVEN-COLLECTION.

This guy is one master of marketing.

p.s. My son got me a Hoonigan hoodie.
