Was talking to a buddy who has had plenty of Porsches over the years and told him about a set of wheels I recently purchased by RUF, he had no idea who they were and doubted me when I said they built the original Yellow Bird from the infamous Nurburgring Nordschleife video. Great video. RUF Deutschland was a big supporter of PCA when I was in Germany. They put on some really cool events for us.

Thanks, coreseller. This is a great video. I watched parts 2-4 afterward. I wish they spent more time discussing the Boxster into which they installed the 911 engine. As he stated, it offered the best weight distribution.

How can you be into Porsche and not know about Ruf. Yellowbird only fueled my obsession.

My God, RUF is the stuff of legends! I'd love to meet Mr. Ruf one day.
