Question Potential Forum Improvements...

Hi, with all the activity the site has been getting lately, here's a couple of ideas which might improve things:

1) Can we add a "Original Post" Date to the "Thread Starter" Column on the topics listings (like the "Last Post" info currently, which shows the User ID and the date/time of the last post)? Given the volume of posts recently, this would allow folks that have been around a while to skip the "reawakened Dinosaurs" as new members come on board. Not that the new member comments aren't valuable, but sometimes you only have 10 minutes to catch up on the site activity...

2) There are "banner rotation" "hacks" available for the vBulletin SW that could allow more frequent rotation of the header Boxster pix automatically. Just FYI, if this would save effort for JT or mjbliemel... see http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/archive/index.php/t-47648 if interested.

We don't have that large a selection of owner's Boxsters from which to choose from to rotate more frequently at this time anyway. I don't think we need to change that at this time. Besides it takes someone hands-on to add the captions as I have been doing.

On the other issue, well that would be up to JT.

I would like to have one forum added.....Racing.

Then you could tell a story like barely kickin' a G35's ass on some lonely road and at the light he flipped me ... I mean you off :-) and you told him to get rid of the soccer mommie car.

I like your idea redfarm, but I don't think a "kill stories" section would fly on this site.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but last time I checked the video center it was pretty skimpy on vids. I think half of the 10 or so belonged to porscheboy(good donut btw porscheboy). We need some new vids.
