A/C with the Top Open?
 

Miami can get very warm and humid in the summer. I've heard it suggested that it's a no-no to drive the car with the AC on and the top open. Any thoughts?

I drive in the summer with the top down and AC on. However I am on the left coast and our weather is also directly opposite yours most times, Hot and dry. That being said, I would think your biggest issue would be to keep your AC drains clear so the torrent of water from the high humidity will have a place to go! :) Otherwise no problem running the AC.

I do it when I am in slow traffic. I turn it off as soon as we start driving at normal speeds again.

I've never heard such a thing. I run ac + open roof if I have to.
